Our Community Open Day, held as part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, was a great success. It was lovely to welcome former pupils, staff, governors, parents and members of the local community and to be reminded of the history of the school from its beginnings in 65 Somerton Road in 1973. Our guests enjoyed seeing the children’s work and photos that have been shared with us by past pupils and families, as well as their tour of the school. The children from P4-7 really enjoyed learning about life down through the decades. Huge thanks to all the families who supported the learning at home.
Our School Council, assisted by Mr McFerran & Miss Norton made a video commemorating 50 years which was premiered at the Open Day. It will be available here soon. Thanks also to Mitchell Professional Cleaning Services who helped us get the grounds looking so well for this special day.
