P4 Remote Learning Journey
This year our pupils in Primary 4 engaged in a new experience through their remote learning journey on Class Dojo from March to June 2020. Throughout the week all areas of the Primary 4 curriculum were covered with the P4 children carrying out many practical activities at home, which involved lots of exploring, experimenting and creating.
This journey was a learning curve for all, however the Primary 4 pupils worked so hard at home on their activities and we are so proud of each and every one of them. The children sent their amazing work daily, which allowed us to upload Pic Collages every week as a showcase of their fantastic efforts. We were so grateful for all of the children’s innovative ideas and the work provided, as well as the positive support and wonderful engagement from our Primary 4 parents who stayed connected with their child’s class teacher throughout this time.
Feedback from parents:
“I think the work, plans, presentation and support was exceptional!”
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers for the time and effort they have put into making remote learning as positive an experience as possible for my children. They were always very present on Class Dojo and any messages were always promptly replied to. My children loved to read the messages/see video clips of their teachers.”
“The ability to contact the teacher on Class Dojo was excellent. The positive feedback gave my child a boost and he tried harder after replies.”
“The teachers have been incredible and offered so much support and guidance. It was lovely to see the pic collages of the children and also for their teachers to comment on individual pieces of work allowed the children to still feel they were “under the wing” of their teacher and part of the school community even while not physically there. Thank you so much!”
