P5 children have been working hard with Mrs.O'Prey to understand and use negative numbers in practical contexts. They have been learning how to read scales on a thermometer, competently calculating the temperature when it rises or falls above and below zero. They enjoyed taking their learning outside to develop their thinking skills, whilst having lots of fun with their friends. However, I think we're all hoping the temperature rises soon!!
