U11 EDCO Cup First Round Victory
22nd Oct 2024
The boys from Primary 7 took on St Joseph's PS, Ballyhackamore on Monday 14th October at Campbell College. On a beautiful day for football, the sun was shining and the motivation was high.
The game was played in great spirits and the first half was a very close affair. Both teams created some great chances and both goalkeepers pulled off some excellent saves to deny their opponents. Towards the end of the first half, St Therese managed to capitalise and convert one of their chances after a great piece of work down the right.
In the second half, St Therese managed to assert their authority quickly and took control of the game with a couple of quick goals. They managed to take control of the game and were able to score a few more as the game progressed. However, a few moments of magic from St Joseph's were only prevented with some great tackling and excellent saves.
Well done to both teams and we look forward to our opponents in the next round.
